Also, build details below:
Vision Ward
Sentry Ward
SKILLS: Pretty standard. Max 1 first to get the CoolDown and sustain, then 3 for lane clear. STARTER: It's a proc build, Blue Stone is best. ITEMS: As it says above, this entire build takes advantage of the fact that Mordred's fun little dash currently counts as a full ability, proc'ing all item effects, including Hydra's.... Shield of the Phoenix - Mandatory 1st item. ALL the sustain forever. If you hit all your abilities and dashes, this will restore almost 20% of your health. Soul Gem - The controversial item! It can be replaced later, but while laning this gives Mordred everything he wants: CD, constant Lifesteal, and a burst heal that can trigger TWICE with just 1 full ability rotation(including Ult) This is also often online before a lane opponent gets anti-heal. Hydra's - Weave an auto attack in between each ability and dash to get Mordred outputting all the damage on top of all the healing. You can get defense before this if you need though. SLOT 4 + 5 - Now it's time to build some actual protections so you don't get instantly deleted in team fights. These two items can be anything, but anti-heal is almost always good, and Spirit Robe gives you a burst of extra protections if anyone tries to ruin your fun. Glad Shield - A great finish, more CD and damage procs! I don't think it's worth getting sooner though, because higher defense is needed to keep you alive and to increase this proc. RELIC: With Mordred's Ult he doesn't absolutely need Beads or Blink, so Sundering Arc gives even more lane pressure through damage, or taking camps.
Slot 4 + 5 Alternatives
Like I mentioned above...
Magi's Cloak
Spectral Armor
Pharaoh's Curse
Oni Hunter's Garb
Any high-protection items are good, and Magi's is a great swap for either of the two in the base build. Get Spectral if they have a crit Carry, Pharaoh's if you feel like you can't catch people, and maybe Oni if you're spending all your time right in the middle of the enemy team. **Remember that one of these can replace Soul Gem if you're feeling too squishy.**
